Two things happened on sunday that were of some degree of surprise to me.

1) My arm made the front page of wired.com:

2) Some photos I posted to flickr that are destined for my new site, atenlabs.commade it to the front page of Flickr Explore.

I’m not used to this sort of attention - I’m the guy who sits behind the curtain and makes the stuff ‘work’. Certainly a pleasure having people leave friendly comments and well wishes. While I haven’t personally thanked everyone, I’d like to offer my sincerest gratitude to everyone.

And to the folks whom I owe beer - I haven’t forgotten about you :)

I flew up to San Francisco to shoot Alexi St. Clair, since she said pretty much “You will shoot me. You don’t have a choice”. Welp, I’m sold. Heres the teaser image from the shoot:

Also, Pinguino, Dave, Skully and some others carted around town and went to a few museums and had really tasty food. Here are some of the highlights!

Yow, I really need to write more often.

The trouble is I don’t want to write about ‘me’. Im fed up with all these people filling the cloud with useless information about themselves that matters to NOBODY. When guys do it, nobody cares, but when a pretty girl does it all the sudden shes got thousands of friends. Some things never change I guess.

I’ve been getting way into photography, and taking paid hacking gigs. Its neat - being paid to hack is .. awesome :)

Today I was screwing around with lens stacking. Its pretty cool! It’ll have to do till i get that 105mm nikkor macro :D

I find that posting the challenges to twitter directly gets more of a response, so I’ll be doing that from now on!
